By default the picker selects one date and closes. Set mode: 'multiple' to let the user pick several — the calendar stays open, and clicking a selected date again deselects it.

Enabling Multiple Selection

Selected cells carry a selected class, so they can be styled:

selectedDatesFormat controls what is written into the input, and what getSelectedDatesFormatted() returns.

array and comma behave identically — both produce the comma-separated string. The name is historical. For a real array, use getSelectedDates().

A function receives the dates in selection order:

Reading and Setting the Selection

picker.setSelectedDates(['2082-02-07', '2082-02-08'])
picker.clearSelection()

getSelectedDates() returns normalised YYYY-MM-DD strings in the order they were picked, and returns a copy — mutating it does not affect the picker. setSelectedDates() replaces the whole selection and silently drops any entry that is not YYYY-MM-DD.

These methods do nothing outside multiple mode. getSelectedDates() returns an empty array and getSelectedDatesFormatted() an empty string.
